Design and production
Brochures for vacation destinations conform to a standard size driven by the racks that display them. Minor attractions will opt for a simple trifold format, and larger parks tend to be oversize formats that unfold like a roadmap.
For a prestige destination like Discovery Cove, we opted for a more engaging format inspired by the destination itself. This destination that allows guests to swim with dolphins is a lush, idyllic environment that presents its guests with beauty around every corner. This rack brochure uses short folds with die-cut pages to evoke that kind of discovery — with every page turn revealing new delights on page spreads that become progressively spacious. A series of paper dummies were instrumental to work out the trim, score and binding positions to ensure the intended reader experience.
