Design
Tulle & Dye is a costume design and fabrication company serving the Twin Cities theater community. They are a fun and creative duo with a great sense of humor and are clearly not averse to a pun. Accordingly, many of my design options incorporated a kind of visual playfulness as well.
The logo was also created as a metallic sticker to be affixed to business cards in the shape of clothing-tags with were in turn attached to the costumes provided to their clientele.
I had mentioned several of my design options included a a kind of visual playfulness — here's another design that I am still quite fond of that uses trompe-l'œil to combine the threads of a bolt with those of a spool.
